Questions and Answers: What should I expect?
(Answers are specific to our Recreational/Development Programs)
When will I hear from my coach?
You should hear from your coach sometime during the third week of August in Fall and the third week of March for Spring
What if I requested a scholarship? Please make sure you send in a minimum payment of $25 to ensure a placement on a
team. Also please note that any fees for uniforms or summer camp are not eligible for scholarship and should be included with your $25 payment.
What if I am paying by check? Remember to send the check in immediately to ensure assignment to a team, as players
are not assigned to teams until payment has been received. Payment by check at the time of registration is only being accepted through Feb 1st for Spring and July 1st for
Fall and the check must be received by Feb 15 for Spring and July 15th for Fall. Any registration for which payment has not been received by those dates will then be
rejected and the registration will need to be rentered using Credit or Debit Card payment. Payment receipt status can be checked anytime by logging in to your Member Account
and looking up your registration for the current balance. PLEASE, Remember to send the check in immediately to ensure assignment to a team, as players are not assigned to
teams until payment has been received.
What if I signed up for camp?
Complete instructions for needed items, when and where to meet, etc. are on the website under camps.
How do I contact or hear from the Club?
Under "Contact Us" you will find a list of Board and Staff and their direct emails. The direct responsibility for various tasks are listed beside each person. Also the Club
sends out notices and news through email, on Team Web Pages and on our Website here and on the home page.
When or where are practices?
Practice dates, times and locations are set for each team by the coach. He/She will provide this information when they contact you. Typical is one to two times per week (one
for younger ages and two as children get older) and vary from 1 to 2 hours in length.
What equipment does my child need?
To play all children MUST have Shinguards, this includes practices. Other equipment would be shorts and socks, which will
cover shinguards. (Recommend Black). Helpful items include waterbottle, warm attire and change of clothing. Also items not
allowed are jewelry and hard casts.
Helpful Hints to Survive Saturday, Game Day
Concessions: Our concession stand is located at the top of the hill just east of the Whiteaker parking area. The money
made from concessions supports our player scholarship program. So if your hungry or thirsty check it out.
Restrooms: Portable restrooms are located behind the concession stand. Please help us keep them clean and let us know if
there are any needs or concerns.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot at Whiteaker Middle School, behind Dayspring Fellowship, and on 14th St. If you
do park on 14th St. we ask that you please be considerate of our neighbors. This means leaving 10 ft. on either side of a driveway and corners, staying out of yards, and not
leaving trash. We ask that you use the parking lots as much as possible, but if you do decide to park on 14th that you help us be a good partner in the neighborhood.
Fields: A field map will be posted at the concession stand. If you are unsure which field your child is playing on please
stop by the concession stand and take a look.
