KSC Annual General Meeting

Agenda and Proposed Bylaw Changes for Meeting Scheduled November 22, 2011.

  3. Minutes of last Club/Board meeting
  4. Bylaw changes
    • remove Article V, Section 3
    • remove the section defining who is eligible to sign checks and the amounts for which they are allowed to sign from the treasurer position definition.
    • add a Section 2 under Article IX (Policies) that states President, Vice President, and Treasurer shall each have signing authority on the club's checking account. Checks for amounts less than $2000 shall require one signature. Checks written for amounts equal to or greater than $2000 shall require 2 signatures
    • change the section under treasurer duties that states "prepare a proposed annual budget to be submitted at the Annual General Meeting" to read "prepare a proposed annual budget to be submitted to the Board of Directors in accordance with their seasonal calendar"
    • change the formatting of the secretary and treasurer job descriptions to match the rest of the document

  7. Election of officers (positions up during odd numbered year)
    • VP -> (Vacant) When the President is absent, the Vice President shall assume his/her duties and otherwise assist the President as required. No Vice President can hold office for more than two consecutive terms
    • Registrar - > (Vacant) The Registrar shall be responsible for certifying birth certificates for all registered players and compiling of team rosters for the state registrar. The Registrar shall be responsible for assigning players to teams. The Registrar shall have sole authority to apply the intent of Article VIII when extreme circumstances require deviation.
    • Secretary -> Keep record of Meetings and calendar, keep files, remind for meetings, publish meeting agenda
    • Public Relations -> The Public Relations Director shall be responsible for publicity and advertising, and locating and manning registration sites. Publicize recreational tournaments. Develop mid-season and post-season tourney competition. Arrange teams, fields and officials, for special events ordered by the Board.
    • Field Administrator -> Coordinates with School Districts, City, and County Governments, as needed. Provide for development and maintenance of fields. Schedule fields for games and practices.
